Michael Wilens
Michael Wilens serves as a Special Advisor at Fidelity Investments. Wilens also serves as a board director of COLT Telecom, ProBuild and Exemplify.
Wilens joined Fidelity Investments in June 2008 as the president of Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMRCo), and currently serves as a special advisor to senior Fidelity leadership. In this capacity, he provides executive oversight to a variety of Fidelity business units including Fidelity Charitable, the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT), Fidelity Business Consulting, XTRAC Solutions, Enterprise Talent, and Enterprise Account Management. Mr. Wilens also previously served as the president of Corporate Operations and Technology, in addition to leading Fidelity’s Workplace Investing business. Prior to joining Fidelity, Wilens spent eleven years in senior roles at Thomson Reuters, including chief executive officer of its North American Legal division, Westlaw.
Wilens holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, and bachelor and master of science degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.
