Tom Axbey has a proven track record of spearheading growth and building operational excellence at both venture-backed startups and publicly-traded companies. Most recently, he served as VP & GM of CloudHealth by VMware, the market leading Cloud Management Platform used by over 12,000 customers globally. Prior to the successful acquisition of CloudHealth by VMware, Tom was its CEO. Before CloudHealth, Tom served as CEO of Rave Mobile Safety, a SaaS-based data and communications platform, where he led the turnaround, growth and acquisition of Rave by a growth equity firm. Previously, he held leadership roles at IBM, Micromuse, Quallaby Corp and American Internet Corporation.
Axbey is a graduate from Croydon College in London and currently also serves on the boards of Build.org, CloudFastPath and Armoured Things.
